The Jewish Temple

On Friday, March 11, 2022, Norrine Caplan accepted the blessing as leader of Congregation GEMILUTH CHASSODIM’s Board of Directors. Our founders chose our name when they organized our congregation, 162 years ago, identifying us as a Jewish organization. The Hebrew translates to, Acts of Loving Kindness, and sets us on a path of great purpose.

 

"As we approach  a return to normalcy from the Covid 19 pandemic, may we begin again to live a good life practicing Jewish values. May we recognize how important coming together is, to worship, to give thanks, to teach, to learn, to laugh, to grieve, to comfort, to practice old ways, to find new ways to perform Acts of Loving Kindness." Amen

 

Our executive committee and board of directors will set an agenda and goals to accomplish this. We will be counting on all of you to be supportive, and to participate. We have a lot of exciting events and ideas for activities in store for you
